Une passion, mon premier souffle, la source de mes plus belles émotions humaines.

J’ai découvert la photographie en 1978, lors d’un séjour aux Etats-Unis. Depuis, appareil et sac à dos en bandoulière, je parcours le monde, photographiant les gens, la vie, captant une lumière, une ambiance, un regard . De l’Asie au fin fond de l’Amérique du Sud, sans trace de voyeurisme mais en observateur sensible, je fixe le temps.

Photographe dépositaire à l’agence Scoop de 1995 à 2000 et ensuite de 2000 à 2017 co-fondateur et photographe de la banque d’images « Créateurs d’atmosphère ».

Devenu un photographe reconnu, j’ai participé à de nombreuses manifestations comme le Festival d’Arles (1980 et 2022), le Festival du Voyage autour du monde de Blois, le festival des Etonnants voyageurs de Saint-Malo (2019), Phot’Aubrac (2022) . J’ai exposé dans des lieux prestigieux (La Maison internationale des poètes et des écrivains de Saint-Malo, le Musée Paul Delouvrier d’ Evry, la galerie de l’aéroport de Paris entre autre) et reçu plusieurs récompenses (Prix du Festival du voyage et du reportage de Saint-Etienne, mention spéciale Coupe de France de la Fédération photographique de France, Prix du Ministère de la culture lors de la Fête de l’image à Bièvres).

Mon parcours m’a permis de rencontrer Robert Doisneau et Paul Almasy qui devient mon ami et avec lequel je décide de créer l’exposition « Vietnam d’hier et d’aujourd’hui » qui sera exposé au Studio Ethel à Paris.

Aujourd’hui, tout en continuant à voyager, je me partage entre la mise à jour de mon site, l’organisation d’expositions, l’expérimentation de tirages en « digigraphie » et de nouvelles aventures artistiques en collaboration avec des poètes, des peintres et des sculpteurs.

I discovered photography in 1978, during a stay in the United States. Since then, camera and backpack slung over my shoulder, I travel the world, photographing people, life, capturing a light, an atmosphere, a look. From Asia to the depths of South America, without a trace of voyeurism but as a sensitive observer, I fix the time.

Having become a recognized photographer, I have participated in numerous events such as the Arles festival, the Blois trip around the world festival, the Saint Malo festival of amazing travelers. I have exhibited in prestigious places (The International House of Poets and Writers Saint Malo, the Paul Delouvrier Museum in Evry, the Paris Airport Gallery among others) and received several awards (prizes of the Festival of travel and reportage of Saint-Etienne, special mention Coupe de France of the Photographic Federation of France, prize of the Ministry of Culture during the Festival of the image in Bièvres).

A certain Robert Doisneau congratulates me and encourages me to continue. At the Bièvres photography festival I met my friend Paul Almasy and we decided to create the exhibition « Vietnam of yesterday and today » which we will exhibit at Studio Ethel in Paris.

Today, while continuing to travel, I am divided between updating my site, organizing exhibitions, experimenting with « digigraphy » prints and new artistic adventures in collaboration with poets, painters and artists. sculptors.
